Business Management Review: Speials Magazine

My strategy journey began years ago, and much like many of you, my strategic thinking evolved alongside my changing responsibilities. As it gradually became a more significant part of my role, I had the opportunity to observe different styles of strategy and strategy execution. As a guest invitee to an executive meeting, I was able to offer alternatives to the sales lead’s assumptions regarding reasons for a mini-price war and the need for extra discount approval after the launch of a new product line. As a result, the price war was resolved without further issues. The experience taught me that it’s okay to bring different ideas into a closed circle. However, I found the outcome somehow unsatisfying. “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” One of the most frequently asked questions I still encounter when talking about or teaching strategy is, “What is the strategy?”. This is particularly poignant, as it suggests the strategy was either not communicated to the right people or at all or pitched in a suitable manner to the audience. An old picture of strategy written in secret in a dark room by a small group often comes to mind. One of my first genuine attempts to change thinking involved a quote often attributed to Einstein about insanity. The truth is though, that this approach didn’t win me many friends in management “If You Always Do What You've Always Done, You'll Always Get What You've Always Got.” ~ Henry Ford” While it’s true that strategy formulation has become more inclusive and transparent, and there is plentiful online content, studies continue to show that over half of companies fail to achieve long-term targets or execute successful M&A transactions. Having personally experienced such outcomes, and not being able to change them alone, I continued for years in the same way, providing professional presentations, often getting thinly justified projects approved un

What defines Latori’s positioning within Shopify-focused enterprise e-commerce development services? Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Wuppertal, Germany, Latori has built its identity around a single platform: Shopify. As one of only two Shopify Platinum Partners in Germany and the country’s first official Shopify Plus Partner, the agency operates not as a generalist digital studio but as a dedicated solution architect for enterprise e-commerce. That singular focus, combined with deep technical capability, is what stands out in an increasingly competitive market. “We combine German engineering precision with the agility of Shopify. We don’t just sell a project, we build sustainable e-commerce growth,” says Jan Laußmann, Co-Founder of Latori. Unlike traditional agencies that treat Shopify as one of many offerings, Latori operates as a dedicated solution architect. The company integrates complex backend systems—ERP, PIM, and logistics infrastructure—directly into Shopify’s architecture, creating cohesive and high-performance commerce ecosystems designed to scale without compromise. Migration Results: Speed, Conversions, Stability How do Shopify migrations handled by Latori impact performance, conversions, and operational stability? One of Latori’s most core strengths is its migration expertise. Clients transitioning from legacy platforms like Magento consistently report meaningful gains. Top Procurement as a Service And Strategic Spend Optimisation Services in UK 2026

What risks emerge when procurement operations lack visibility and centralized supplier oversight processes? When one client mapped its software environment, it found nearly 400 platforms running across the business. Only 300 were chargeable and nobody had noticed. Phil Machin, founder and CEO of Bridge Procurement, was not surprised. Fragmented ownership, unchecked renewals, poor visibility and supplier risk buried inside daily operations describe what procurement looks like when it functions as an afterthought. The financial cost is visible. The exposure from unmanaged supplier risk accumulates quietly. "If you do not know what platforms your business is using, you are not just losing money, you are creating risk," says Machin. Bridge Procurement was built to fix that. It does not advise on procurement. It runs it. Operating as a fully outsourced procurement-as-a-service model, it replaces or supplements underperforming procurement functions, embedding directly into the client's business and taking full ownership of outcomes. That model earned Bridge Procurement recognition as Top Procurement-as-a-Service and Strategic Spend Optimisation Services 2026 by Business Management Review Europe. How does embedded procurement execution improve spend optimization and contract management performance outcomes? Execution over Consulting Bridge takes full ownership of procurement performance, managing negotiations, contract renewals, spend optimisation and supplier governance end-to-end. KPIs drive every engagement, including savings, cost avoidance and return on investment against fees..
